I cuddle with anyone I like. I cuddle with close friends, friends with benefits, and girlfriends. I definitely have not been in love with all of them. I just like to cuddle, and the closeness is a nice feeling. It's nothing more complicated than that, really.
Yes, there are some people who only cuddle certain people under specific situations, and yes there are some people who only cuddle people they love. However, if anyone tries to tell you that guys only cuddle people they love, like it's an absolute, you can feel free to call "Bullshit" on them. It's not a guarantee. It's a fallacy. Completely erroneous and false.

I don't know for all guys, but for me, cuddling is maintaining the contact. It's a sign of feelings and not just sexual attraction.
And I would never cuddle with a friend.

in some it definitely is. a guy who is genuinely attracted to a/his girl will maintain the contact because he is emotionally and physically connected.
on the other hand, them jerks who just maintain contact for the pleasure of it are only doing it to satisfy their own sexual desires which they cannot control because they lack the willpower to do so:)
