Why do people think me and my cousin are dating? Its really emberassing and awkward and can't help but feel creeped out?

We are very close and laugh a lot togehter but still fight like siblings. In our college classes we have the same major so we are together a lot and one of our professors told her to stop flirting with your man when she touched my arm and put her head on my shoulder. She has a bf and is my cousin so I can't help but feel embarrassed.

Don't worry about it, , just find a way to let people know that your cousins in your close. I am close to my male cousins as well. They are younger than me and both happily married. When they come back to our state to visit we all hang out. All 14 of us "cousins" and we are always driving people crazy because of our closeness. Take that closeness and run. People don't understand family values anymore good luck in college and whatever you're doing in family is important don't ever lose it.

Oh no lol that's not the case we can date cause were distant enough but still no. She's the only person I will tease a lot though like a lot of guys like her and I tease her about how she can't keep a bf. The farthest we ever got was her roommate and her bf had to have some alone time and she slept in my room on my bed but nothing happened. It was awkward I will say.
