I'm disappointed and ashamed of the American population. I didn't love Hillary at all, and truth told, I'm really an anarchist who just wants to be left alone to live wherever I feel like without stepping on anyone's toes. I don't acknowledge the US gov't as an authority over me, just because it blows my mind that literally anyone would agree to be bound by laws made up by complete strangers.
Sorry for that long preamble but I want to establish myself as a very independent opinion.
So here's my deal: I hate Trump, and here's why: in my opinion, if you are in any way sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, islamaphobic, anything anti-this or that, you have been disqualified as "a good person." It is impossible to hold any or all of those views and still be considered a decent human being, in my eyes. I want a decent human being in charge of hundreds of millions of other human beings, even over competence and strength... I just want to know someone with a good soul is in charge. Neither candidate would have filled that requirement, not so much Hillary in the sense of the -isms and -phobias, but she's obviously a snake too with her own shenanigans.
But my biggest problem is that Trump ran a campaign based on fear-mongering and capitalizing on ignorant white Americans that inhabit the useless, backwards South and Lower Midwest. Like look at a map. Show me a red state that actually matters. I'll wait. To hear some white people talk, I genuinely think they think this means PC culture (which I agree goes too far) will completely die and they can go around throwing racial slurs around publicly like its 1930 again. And that whole "Make America Great Again" slogan... when was America great? Or more importantly, WHO was it great for? You can ask any educated white man who was alive in 1955 and he'll say America was great, but we were still treating black folks like second class citizens, how great could that be? The greatest trick ever pulled by the Republican Party was convincing poor white people from racist areas to vote for them.
Overall, I'm just very ashamed to live in a place where over half the population is ok with electing a guy who sexually assaults women, makes ignorant bigoted comments, etc. Is some stuff blown up by the media? Yes, of course. But if you think building a literal wall on the border is a good idea, you live in Bananaland. Its already insane that we draw imaginary lines on a map and form countries in the first place. America 1776-2016😭

Did you see the last major Hillary Clinton rallies? Celebrities-cum-political hacktivists, chief among them Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, and Katy Perry, all fell into Clinton’s corner well before their final appearances for her, excoriating anyone who had the gall to support Donald Trump. Even long-term Republicans who betrayed Trump, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, were attacked by celebrity SJWs such as Robert DeNiro after they joined the “Never Trump” ranks, as if they were dangerous saboteurs. The celebrity paranoia has been palpable for months. Hollywood, that broad industry taking in not just film stars but also singers, silver screen actors, and comedians, has become little more than an overpaid trade union for Hillary Clinton.
Likewise, every major American company that has come out for a candidate has come out for Hillary. Plenty of “neutral” corporations have undoubtedly been funneling support to the Clinton campaign behind the scenes as well. Prominent billionaires like George Soros and Warren Buffett have done all they could to drag Hillary’s stumbling half-corpse, both literally and figuratively, across the line. Whilst Trump has been supported by a number of ten-figure businessmen, these men are regularly attacked in the media. They include the scapegoated but brave Peter Thiel and Carl Icahn.
And then there’s the mainstream media. Countless studies have indicated that about 85-90% of all journalists are liberal. This over-representation is more salient still in the upper echelons of newsmen and women, particularly prominent mastheads such as The New York Times, Washington Post, and Huffington Post, plus Democratic TV surrogates like CNN and NBC. The 2016 campaign has inflated this preexisting liberal bias, one that plagued the two George W. Bush Administrations but raged even more ferociously against Donald Trump over the last 18 months.
All of these media elites have lambasted Trump for over a year, at the same time they give the paltriest coverage of the disgusting Hillary, Podesta and DNC emails. Everything newsworthy on this front, from the overwhelming presence of Clinton Foundation donors in Hillary’s Secretary of State diary book to more recent revelations about John Podesta’s involvement with Satanic rituals, has been brushed off the balcony by the Wolf Blitzers and Chuck Todds of the American mainstream media. Yet Trump has triumphed nonetheless!
I dont care i'm a rebel.
Despite my dislike for Trump at the very least i still hold hope for him and don't want him to screw things up. But one thing i like about Trump is how he has exposed all the BS from the media and the left, and i should know, i used to be a "SJW" and now i laugh at myself for it as well as everyone crying that Hillary didn't win.
Its hard to accept Trump but he's is way better then Hillary and i'm glad he won. I get it if you acknowledge that they both suck and i respect third party supports but if you actually wanted Clinton over Trump then i'm sorry, you're most likely running away from facts and information because "reading is too hard" or something lame crap like that because what Clinton stands for is disgusting...
Clinton stated she has a public or private stance
Clinton took bribes from other countries
Clinton has ties to a pedophilia island!
Clinton has been caught starting fights at Trump rallies
Clinton has been caught WORKING WITH THE MEDIA!!! Stop thinking with emotions for one second and really think about how dangerous that is, for the government to be collaborating with the very people that are suppose to inform us about the government and world events so we can make informed opinions instead of ignorant uninformed opinions! Trump said something mean? Oh dayum your feelings are hurt? Clinton is doing the same shit Big Brother does in 1984! "Tinfoil much?" NO SCREW YOU the media should in no way in hell be actively working with someone running for president to screw over other candidates (Bernie) or sabotaging other candidates (Trumps rallies) in a democratic society! A Democracy shouldn't have a candidate that was pre-selected, yes, Clinton was the pre-selected democratic candidate! Emails ladies! Why is it that the guys here get it but the girls don't? 1984 tier corruption should scare you way more then what Trump wanting to build a wall!
Again if your stance is they both suck i can respect that. But if you wanted Hillary to win over Trump and you're actually crying on twitter then good, i'm glad Trump got elected! I dare say maybe we need Trump to wake everyone up. Go ahead and dislike me because the truth hurts.
I don't have high hopes because I'm not even American and I don't care about his national policy that much since it doesn't affect me. So Americans chose him, let it be, it's their country not mine, their business not mine. They want to build a wall? Cool, their choice 👍🏼 (and actually I can kinda understand it).
However I do care about his international policy and foreign affairs, because I'm Middle Eastern and I hope he won't make things worse. Not that I had high hopes with Hilary either, whatever they say, I think either one of them would've had the same effect on me and the ME. Reason why I didn't care much for the results to begin with. Only pro for having Trump is that unlike Hillary, he's very vocal, so whatever he does will be more expected and not done as secretly as Hillary.
I just hope that by saying he will destroy Isis, he means helping to get rid of ALL direct and indirect foreign intervention in Arab countries , including Russia, Iran, Russia, Israël etc... And not throw a nuclear bomb in the whole region and kill my Family.
And last but not least, I think a lot of things he said like banning us Muslims won't happen. It was just a tactic to get votes from certain people.
I'm slightly concerned about my Muslim American family not from what he will do , but more the influence he can have in terms of making it "OK" to hate/attack Muslims and other people. But this is just a speculation and I'm hoping it won't happen. My uncle living in the Us is a scientist working with NASA, so yeah, I think he is contributing positively to the country and it would be unfair if anything bad happens to him and his family.
Okay hearing the news.. i was devistated to hear that he won. I actually cried. I am so scared for all those mulism, gays, les, etc, hispanics, and all their children. I am so sad you dont understand. I was pro Hilarry. Still am. I'll give trump a chance tho. I hope he does good to our country. Im afraid of what he will do to all the minority's and it saddens me that he treats women how he does. It also saddens me how many people who are white and racist voted for him in hopes of him abolishing everyone who isn't white, straight, christian, and a male. I know he can't build a wall and i know he's for immigrants (supposedly) and he's anti-illegals, but his wife was illegal when she was doing some modeling. Now thats up for questioning. Anyway i hope this country will forever welcome people from different countries. I hope we won't be divided. I hope trump does good to our economy... god will guide us. I'm just so sad. I understand that the American people want change. I guess we'll see what happens. #pro-immigrants #proculture
I hope that he finds people for his cabinet/team that are very proficient in dealing with Government business. I hope he finds someone to write all his speeches. I hope the checks and balances of our government still holds true and that the USA is still the country of "dreams" and that people are still hoping for their voices to be heard and keep trying. I hope that the American people still in their hearts, follow God/good morals, no matter who the president is. It starts with each individual for a whole country to be a great country. I trust in God that this president will seek out many counsels before making any decisions and that his work will do our country more good than bad. We can always hope. That's all we can do.

disappointed. ashamed. disgusted. fearful.
and those are just some of the feelings i can identify. i didn't believe in trump. i don't believe in trump. but what's even worse to me is that there is a huge HUGE number of people who believe in not only his policies but him personally.
but the silent majority spokeI felt like America was screwed either way. It's kind of like asking someone "Would you rather have death by beheading or death by electrocution?" They both have their ups and downs I suppose, but in the end, you still die. If the American president is supposed to be the ideal leader of the people, I don't know how we ever brought it down to those two.
As for how Trump will actually be, I think it's kind of up in the air. Of course, I have people on one side yelling that he'll "make America great again," while I have people on the other side yelling he is a rapist, evil, an oompa loompa etc. etc..
I'm hoping here that he'll mature on the job in the sense where he'll gain a bit more composure. Maybe he'll surround himself with good people and he'll be a surprisingly good president. I don't think it is necessarily impossible. I'm a bit worried about the economic aspects though.
Maybe he'll be better than Hilary would have. Maybe he won't. We'll have to see. I think many of the presumptions that we can guess now may be exaggerated. I think we'll make it through these four years. I don't forsee a total crash of the economy, hatred and rapists everywhere, dogs and cats living together, etc. like some seem to think (serious or not, idk). If nothing else, I think there are advisors that will help him out. I mean, while he is the president and all, he does still have limited power with the checks and balances system.
I was pretty in the middle on this election. It left a sour taste in my mouth, and it probably would have regardless of outcome.I think the results of this election are potentially really, really good for this country. It's not because Trump has great ideas (those are actually really bad ideas), but the fact that he's not part of the establishment. Although people tend to not see it this way, Hillary is the same as Obama who's the same as George Bush. Democrats and Republicans all do the exact same thing even though they talk as if they're different. Obama lectured about human rights and Guantanamo, but did he shut it down? Obama continued to pick fights with North Korea, he tries to get us involved with Syria and has kept us in Iraq. Any true Democrat and Republican is going to just do more of the same.
But there's a reason why many Republicans did not want to endorse Trump -- he's not truly one of them (much like Bernie and the Democrats). Because he's not one of them, he's effectively a third-party candidate and unless the Democrats and Republicans want to get co-opted again by an outsider, they'll need to make some changes if they want to keep their political stranglehold.Im not much familiar about US politics I just knew I was against Trump for his always endeless diffamatory comments towards blacks, hispanics and other minorities but now that with sadness he is the next US president (and who in the world would ever believe this showman and bsuiness man with no politics experience ended up being a US president).
So now he is the US president for me that is a total joke, Ok, he got what he wished for ok, now deal with it and try to be a good one, and if he want people to change their minds about him, so then I hope he starts making the necessary changes so US can be a good country and he has good relations with other countries as well
He is filling the most important US seat he ever seated, I hope he remembers being president is not being in the host of Celebrity Appprentice or a guest star spot on some TV show or soap opera. Being a country's president is something hard and serious and I hope he take it as it is and be serious about it and only acting good and be respectful he can earn the respect of people , the ones who possibly had criticized him.
So show me you can be a good president and let your ego down a little, cause this is not only about you is about the whole US and the whole world. Show the world we were wrong about you.No matter what ELSE he stands for... to elect a man who is proud about sexually assaulting women, a man who insults the disabled, a man who disrespects fallen soldiers... The American people have decided that this is a man to revere, this is a role model for their sons and daughters. I think that is the greatest tragedy- not WHO Donald Trump is, but that so many voters accepted his gross misconduct, his bullying, his racism, his sexism, his xenophobia. Donald Trump did not create this ugliness. He gave a voice to ugly thoughts which were already in people's minds. I've always been a proud American until now. I am genuinely ashamed of our actions. We let him get to this point and what he does now is completely on us.
Well I am European for a change.
Although I can't say I would support Trump, I do understand that many people voted for him as the guy always says what's on his mind, even if it isn't always as politically correct. This compared to other politicians who are super calculating.
I also understand his voters want to defend their personal freedom and honestly I can understand that if you were to live on a farmhouse 20 miles from the nearest town from the nearest police station you would want something to defend yourself with against an armed intruder.
I don't understand why you would want to take your semi-automatic weapon for grocery shopping but that's beyond me.
I don't understand why the Mexico issue is so bad, yes you have some people with a not too different culture streaming across the border to work and support themselves. Their culture is still pretty similar in terms of way of life.
In terms of other migrants they have to come by plane so you already have many ways to screen them.
We are dealing in Europe with over 1 million undocumented immigrants living in camps coming from a total warzone and totally different culture and yet we don't think of building a wall.
For us the US-Mexico issue is laughable at best.
I understand the jobs situation but isolating the USA might have worked 70 years ago but it is not practical for our world today. The most isolated nations economically are Cuba, Iran and North Korea. And maybe a couple of fishing nations in the Pacific.
Are these countries examples of economic prosperity? No not really.
So yeah actually not too bad as a president, just don't overexaggerate every issue because some things are just the way they are.The United States has become a complete laughing stock to all other nations across the world. For an outright and blatant misogynistic, racist, sexist, homophobic, perverted, bigot who has absolutely no political experience at all to actually become president is something else. I hated Hillary too but Trump as president just foreshadows the U. S's imminent turmoil. We are back in the 60s and 50s. I blame uneducated whites and old racist ass whites for this ridiculous situation that the united states is in currently. I hope minorities stick together and have each other's backs because the U. S sure doesn't.
I feel sad and so sorry to all the people that aren't straight white males. The past eight years obama tried to rebuild america and now it'll crumble right back to racism homophobia and ignorance. The global warming will be worse since the mad orange believes china made it up and the economy will go to ruins, making the dollar worth less and the people poorer. Taxes will probably change too but the rich people will always win. Kill the mad orange.
Well his budget plan has a $billion per year hole in it (on top of the current deficit) and he's going to be Putin's sockpuppet... But honestly I think it's going to be 4 years of extreme division with congress and the states trying to block the Trump administration at every turn and high placed civil servants and military officers publicly defying him.
"High hopes"
Smh... gtfo
You are going to have high hopes for the economy from someone who has been bankrupt FOUR FUCKING TIMES!
America has taken a downfall... not only will Americans suffer, the whole world will. (Ripple effect bitches... it happens).
If people are crying, protesting, having panic attacks etc after a presidential election, you should be worried.Simply put, I feel embarrassed. I'm embarrassed as an American, and I feel embarrassed for the masses who voted for for him based on fear, anger, and hateful nativists attitudes. It's all really fucking embarrassing.
For a nation that was literally built on the backs of immigrants (many of whom were here against their own fucking will), giving into xenophobia and buying into American nativist horse shit is embarrassing.honestly he is better than Hillary she would've put us in danger of another war because of her recklessness with her email like honestly she should be in prison right now. she comitted treason by sending classified emails and should be in prison but she paid off people so that they would prove her innocent when she really is not. She also thinks it is ok to abort babies at 9 months so yeah i am all for Trump
I am scared and wowed at the same time. We really did not have a good choice this election. I don't like his mouth, he can't keep it shut, when he should. If a guy has a thought about a girl, especially if it's dirty, you lock that s##t up! You don't tell a foreign dignitary or people at a debate! I can't confirmed that happened but trump does not a censor for his speech, that at least has been proven. The young turks have a long string of views about donald, not that trump supports would watch them, but it might prepare us in some way for the years to come.. I can say this though... we have a reality tv and tabloid celebrity that is now our president
What we can expect over the next 4 years:

www.google.com/imgresI'm glad he won. I'm also pretty skeptical on Trump. I just don't get how millions of Americans were okay with a person that is corrupt, a master liar and a hypocrite extraordinaire. I wonder if all the Hillary supporters teach their kids to be just like Hillary. Who knows other than they were perfectly okay with a person like her as their president. If you ask most of her supporters what good she has done that can be verified in her past, they just stand there trying to come up with something. Hooray for America! Obama's legacy is out the window and Hillary has lost to two people, Obama and Trump, who had/have zero experience. Please don't point to Obama being in the Senate. He missed more votes during his time in the Senate than anybody else. That is not participating in the process.
i'm a bit worried, the political direction here in the UK is worrying, and trumps election seems to have validated some extreme right supporters rights to carry out some horrific things, just like after the referendum, and it's becoming more institutionalized, the Sun, the daily mail, the daily Express, are all spurring hate, pointing at people who are completely innocent and labeling them as enemies of the state (even the high court judges), and people are buying it. Nigel Farage isn't seen in the same light as he was this time last year, and that worries me.
I honestly don't know anything about him. I think it's likely he'll just pass all responsibilities to his VP and it will basically just be a normal republican presidency. Would be funny if the conservatives who voted for him tried to hold his 'feet to the fire' about putting Hillary in jail. Would like to see that, or see him deny having said it. Either outcome would be entertaining.
But, I admit there is an appeal to having an 'outsider' win. And I am glad that Hillary lost, after the way her campaign treated Bernie. However, it also sucks that conservatives have to be reminded every 8 years why we don't vote for republican policies. Now we have to go through another recession just because some idiots are afraid of black people. So many people thought Donald Trump wouldn't win. He obviously did. So many people think he would do shit. Never under estimate someone
I love trump. He's flawed, but Hillary is worse
What kind of woman thinks it's okay to abort s baby at 9 months?
she also takes money from countries that abuse womenThe people have voted and as the phrase goes 'people deserve what they vote (or don't) for'
He's been elected by the majority and I'm sure he's able else they wouldn't have propped him up for presidency.
Let's give him time and it will tell :)
All I can say for now is good luck to him :)I'm angry and dissatisfied. I don't trust he would make a great president considering the crap he's done over the years. Misogynize and making inappropriate comments to/against women. Even he is a billionaire and has a lot of money, everything that will come out of his mouth is racism. He will ban all immigrants out, not giving them a right to visit America or to live. He is not equality and also disrespectful to human kind. How can we look up to him believing he will run the country as any other president would when he disrespects everyone?
