My girlfriend broke up with me, so why did she cried?

When we broke up we were outside and after this we moved with our bikes. My house is further than her but we have to take the same road. We arrived at her home so she parked her bike and while she was doing that, to prank her i acted as i was upset and faking leaving without saying her goodbye, so
- She asked me : You dont tell me goodbye?
- I replied : What's for? then i moved
(but in fact i was parking my bike too but further enough her vision).
and when i come back to her (20 seconds after) she was crying and hugged me and even let me come at her place (she refused previously), give me more hugs (she was still misty) and let me kiss me her few times (and even told i'm a good kisser)
and this surprised me because she looked confident when we were outside.
Now i'm confuse

Speaking from my experience as a girl, there are several reasons.
First of all, even if it was her who did the breaking up, there was still an emotional attachment to you, and the breaking of that bond will cause emotions.
Secondly, perhaps she was very nervous about the breakup. Scared you'd take it badly, scared she'd chicken out. Could be tears of relief or tears of pent-up nerves.

I broke up with a lot of guys while dating in my 20s. I was sad and felt depressed after it was over because I missed them texting me every day that they missed me and was thinking of me and liked me... but there were other issues like I didn't feel comfortable around them and I felt like they were too judgmental and controlling so... it was for the best although it still hurt to lose them.
