Me and my ex dated for a while and then we broke up, we decided that we should be friends since we were still going to be seeing each other since we share the same friend group. We didn’t really talk for a few months and then we met up to clear the air and it felt good and that we both were on the same terms. Then we didn’t see or talk to each other for 3 months and when we recently met we had a few conversations with each other. When I got home he texts me and asks me why it’s still so awkward between us, which I personally didn’t think it was. He has never initiated contact before since the break up so I just find it kind of odd so why did he ask me this?
