Why did he leave for a second time?

I have dated my ex from two years ago twice this year now. The fist time we had a mis understanding on my part about something and he got mad and ended communication and told me he was moving on I was not the one. This second time he said the same exact thing! We see each other every other weekend. He made plans with his brothers 2 leave town on our weekend together. Did not talk with me about , did not ask if I would mind nothing at all. Just said … hey, I will not be in town on our weekend. I got very upset , I was mad all day and said some things I shouldn’t of said which I did apologize with him, told him I was ok with it, it’s fine and that I was sorry for getting so upset. I was just really losing forward for our weekend since we do not see each other often. I wasn’t nice with him about it but I did own my part and said I was sorry. He got very upset … said he’s moving on and haven’t heard from him in a week!! He avoided meeting up and talking about stuff. Just threw the towel in once again. He never died sorry for his part. He’s the type with any conflict he runs away like a kid and ends stuff. Don’t understand. He told me he really cared about me , talked about marriage and a figure etc but does this? I am confused. He blocked me on everything and I have sent him some emails with no response. I really liked him a lot. I have no idea what I should do.
