What should I do about my boyfriend wearing his ex-girlfriends necklace still?

I got him a necklace for his birthday not knowing that the necklace he was currently wearing was from an ex...just thought he would appreciate variety. Well he ended up not liking it. He said "Sorry babe I like my necklace now its gonna be hard to get used to another one". So I said okay lets go back to the store and get you something you want...fine by me!

So the other day I asked him where did you get that necklace from? He said "my ex". Now what the hell am I suppose to think or say or do? I can't stand her. Can't imagine what she's thinking...because He told me the other day that she wants him back. I don't know maybe I'm just paranoid but I'm seriously freaking out.

He really liked the necklace that's why he wore it...but he took it off anyways because he knew it upset me. :) Thanks for the inputs!

Yaaaaa nevermind...I caught him wearing it again. I have no idea what to do or think... he put it back on! Or I caught him...he forgot to take it off I'm guessing. He lied and told me he threw it away the time before.

Before you totally freak out on him find out why he wears the necklace. It may be because it reminds him of her in which case dump him. But there are other options. He may wear it as a reminder to himself not to let himself be taken advantage of again. Or it could hold significance because of a life change he made at the time when he started wearing it. Just know what it means to him before you ask him to take it off or send him packing.

If he purchased it for you, he obviously thought it was an attractive necklace. If it's something that can be worn by either sex, it isn't surprising that he'd wear it after you gave it back unless he planned to sell it or give it to someone else.

yeah, that's pretty weird, I doubt his commitment if he still wears something that reminds him of his ex. You need to have a heart-to-heart with him about that
