My boyfriend hid his tattoo of his ex girlfriend from me for months. should I break up?

We always have sex with the lights off and he’s always wearing a tank top or a t-shirt and he went to the beach with his friends and

then he texted me “hey I want you to hear it from me first but I got a tattoo of my ex girlfriend a few years ago and I regret it and I’m going to get it removed very soon”.

He only told me because he thought his friend was going to upload the photo to instagram. He had no plans on telling me unless he was going to get caught.

Considering you are now wanting to break up with him over a damn tattoo he got years ago I can see why he didn't tell you. Geez he got the tattoo before you were even together and he has told you he has plans to get it removed

It’s because he lied and the only reason he told me was because he thought his friend was gonna upload a picture about it. He told me numerous times that his ex girlfriend got a tattoo of his name and how he hates her. He had multiple opportunities to tell me. It’s bad that he only feels the need to tell me stuff when he thinks someone else is gonna do it first

Lol breaking up over a tattoo he was probably ashamed of. Probably felt stupid about it too. I think he should break up w you cause trust me if this is disappointing to you he as well as many other men are going to disappoint you in life. I’m sure he’s willing to remove it or cover it up, no biggie. Maybe he was afraid to tell you because he k ew you’d react this way.

I’m not 35! I just turned 18 and it’s not the tattoo it’s the principle that he only tells me things when he’s about to get caught.
