Please be nice... I cheated on my boyfriend with my ex, and I dont know what to do?

so please be nice, I made an awful mistake. I got super high like 2000 milligrams of pot kind of high, I barely remember sleeping with my ex. I tried to hide it from my boyfriend because I was ashamed and I didn't really remember how it happened. Anyways I beg and pleaded with him to forgive me and give me another chance. He finally reached out to me and told me that once I get my divorce finalized, and my life back on track we can talk again, until then he said he wouldn't let myself or my ex hurt him like that. Then he finished with telling me that this is the compromise and chance I'm giving you. I don't know how to read this or even understand it. Does he mean he's giving me another chance or does it mean we will just talk about it? And it is even worth it to try?

At this point? Just be glad he's even still talking to you at all thats more than most men would give a cheater and i would bet most woman too. If you really love him and dont want to loose him you have one option. Do what he said or let him go there's no middle ground. Cheating is the worst thing you can do to a person short of killing them. If you want to keep him you're going to have to spend as long as it takes to earn his trust back and prove you truly love him. So the only question that matters now is do i love him enough to do what it takes to make this right. Im not going to sugar coat it i wod be surprised if it took less than several years for him to fully trust you again. Im not judging you but im not going to sugar coat it cause this is one of those things that takes a lot and i mean a lot of worfk to fix and if you want to fix it you're gonna have to be willing to put in as long as it needs.

I think the guys settled on a devorce do as u will with that either keep him or don't but else nothing u can do, just appologies and move on hun
