Why I can’t get over a girl I like?

I got dumped. It wasn’t like that I liked a girl approched her and nothing. We became friends and she was intereted as well. Her friends kept telling me this for months. We got closer and things were looking good. We kissed few times and we went out. But then she started to be a bit distant and then when I asked her about the second date she said she doesn’t want relationship now and she won’t have time now. It sucks. I feel really bad. I feel not good enough shame and all these feelings. I don’t know what I did wrong. It was first week of September and I am still not over it. Why is it so hard to get over someone?

It’s never nice to have your feelings hurt. You must of really liked her. It will take some time to recover from this. Perhaps it’s a bit more difficult because things were going so well and then it stopped. You may have unanswered questions and it’s causing issues moving forwards? Just a theory.
