Is a No Cobtact order valid if the person is leaving the military?

Hi. My ex and I broke up. It wasn't a bad breakup. There was no cheating or abuse. What I messed up on was texting him how sorry I was, how it made our friendship bad, and how I would love to try again IF it came back to that. I will admit that even though my intentions were good, it was harassment. Anyways, he filed a no contact, but he's leaving in 5 days-EAS. Would the no contact expire since he's gonna be civilian, or is it only when my commander? In a way, does the military have any business where 2 people just have relationship problems where there's no abuse?
