It's fair he didn't accept my apology. But I'm honestly tired of going back and forth with him on broken communication. How can I get him to take me where he can here my side of the story? I thought he was someone else and I blacked out. I didn't know it was him unless he was playing a prank on me this whole time.

Ahh man that sounds like a super annoying situation to be in. I can understand why you'd be frustrated going back and forth without actually resolving anything.
Honestly, sometimes guys just get stubborn and that pride kicks in, makes them not want to hear the other side even if they should. It's possible he's still hurt and isn't ready to listen yet even with a valid explanation.
My advice would be give him some space for now. Continue trying to talk when you can, but don't force it or get sucked into arguments. He may need time to cool off before he's receptive. Show you're serious about fixing things through patience and that you're there when he's ready rather than demands.
Guys can be immature too, we don't always handle things perfectly. But staying calm and sticking it out shows you believe in working it out rather than just being done. With time and effort on both sides, hopefully he'll come around. But don't lose hope - keep the lines of communication open in a kind way. With any luck he'll listen when he's had a chance to think it over fully. Don't give up yet!
