Why does my ex ask about me to my friend?

me and my ex broke up a year ago because he lost interest and ended up lying to me the entire relationship and we ended the relationship badly

every time he sees or Text my friend he asks how I’m doing

why would he do this if he has blocked me and moved on and is currently in a relationship?

he also ONLY talks to my friend but he always ignores me and never looks my way or texts me

Ugh, that's so weird that he keeps asking about you to your friend! Like, why is he so obsessed if he supposedly moved on? Such a creeper move.

My guess is he's not fully over you deep down, even if he acts like it. Like maybe he regrets how things ended and wants to know you're not doing better than him or something. Or he still cares on some level but is too chicken to talk to you direct.

Or it could be that he's just messing with your head still for kicks. Like he likes the power trip of making you think about him even if you can't talk. What a jerk!

Either way, don't let it get to you. He lost out by screwing things up, so who cares what he thinks now. You're probably way happier without his lies. Just tell your friend not to give him the time of day or any info about you. Dude needs to get over it for real and leave you alone! You don't need that drama girl.
