A narcissistic ex may feel entitled to their ex because they think they’re the most important person and expect to still be cared about. They also like having control and don’t want to lose it. Narcissists depend on others to feel good about themselves, so they might expect their ex to keep giving them attention. Even though they seem confident, they’re afraid of being rejected and might try to stay in touch. They also have trouble respecting boundaries and don’t understand that their ex needs space.
