Drunk sex with best friend

So, the things are a little bit to complicated. My best friend is also my ex-boyfriend's best friend and as if this isn't enough, he also had a little something with my best girl friend a few years ago. (Just for the record, I broke up with my ex 10 months ago.) Usually, when we hang out with my best friend, we sleep afterward together. Nothing had never happened until yesterday. We went out and we had agreed that he was going to sleep in my house. So, we went in a bar and everything was normal. We were having a lot of fun. And here comes the alcohol. We started drinking shots the one after the other and suddenly we were dancing too close. I cannot remmember how or when but we started kissing each other and touching and we became really passionate. After a while we were in my building's elevator . He started kissing and undressing me and we had sex in the elevator. Then, we went into my appartment and continued to have sex. It was really pasionate with long kisses and bites and the things that someone do when they really like the sex. I think we had sex for about an hour or more. When we stopped he said this was wrong, he is my best friend (he was reffering to my ex boyfriend) and we agreed not to tell about it to anybody. After this I slept immediately. He slept some time later. Today when we woke up we where let's say okay. I mean we just mentioned some instances from the last night which were funny (ex. the elevator was going all the time up and donw) and joked a bit about them. Apart from this, there were 1-2 weird moments but that was all. We both acted really normal. The thing is that a keep thinking of two questions. First, is it going to affect our relationship? The first signs show that our relationship is the same but I cannot be sure. Second, I'm a bit confused. I've heard that the things that we do when we're drunk are the ones that we want in our subconscious. Does this mean that we like each other? I felt nothing erotic when I saw him this morning but still I'm thinking of the previous night all day long. And what about him? Is there any possibillity to like me? At the end, even if there are fellings we cannot proceed as there are a lot of friendships involved not only ours.

Why did he think it was wrong? You broke up with his buddy ages ago. As long as he's not with anyone else it seems OK. There's nothing wrong with having sex with him since you're both single, right? I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you want a repeat, tell him. If not, chalk it up to lowered inhibitions from the booze and drive on.

The Bro Code clearly says that you can bang your bro's girlfriend once he's done with her. There might be a prior notification requirement, but it doesn't require approval. I'm guessing your ex has whined and bitched to him about wanting you back. That's the only reason I can think of that he'd C-block himself in the middle of knocking boots.

if you all are really best friend then I think you should embrace it. At the end of the day thats who you should be with, the person you feel closest to regardless of past relationships. Finding a best friend that is the opposite sex is such a unique and amazing thing.

Peoples inhibitions are lowered by alcohol, it may or may not be what you truly want. But unless you do it sober, its not REALLY what you want. If you really want something, you'll want it when you're sober. Admit it was a drunken mistake and move on. You may want to think over sleeping at each others houses. The relationship will change, but all relationships change over time, simply because people change. If its an important friendship you will figure it out. If its not, you won't.

Yeah that’s wild. I think having sex with your best friend even when you don’t have feelings for them is possible. I mean these are people we love and trust why wouldn’t we be attracted to them to some extent.
