My ex defended me!

so I really need help with this problem..ok well I had a boyfriend then we broke up because he still like he's ex-girl because when he ask me out he still like her,but he told me that he want me to help him forget her so I try my best but I guess he just couldn't stop loving her so he broke up with me and ask her out again.so then I was upset but the weirdest thing ever is that he always staring at me in the class. then last time some dudes were going to start poke me in class but since I don't like when people poke me I told them to stop and they wouldn't listen to me so my ex which was him he still going out with he girlfriend he start to defend me and telling them to leave me alone..what could this mean?HELP!

he still cares about you as a person but I wouldn't leap to a conclusion that he likes you as a girlfriend ...he's officially with his ex now. Unfortunately, when you met a guy and he was using you to get over an ex because he wasn't 100 % over her, so maybe he's still thinking about you.

If he's always staring at you and only you, he might be thinking if he made the right choice by being with his ex.
