My ex broke up with me a week ago because he said we took things too fast and he lost feelings for me. Shattered my heart but I really want him back, and don't want to drive him crazy with calling or texting him. He won't text me or snap chat me back. Homecoming is coming up and this other guy asked me as just friends. If I look as amazing as possible, like my ex likes would it work to make him jealous or will he think that I just moved on? Does looking extremely hot make a guy want to come back or just want sex?

So my ex bf broke up with me 10 days ago through TEXT. I replied with a letter I had written him stating that I also wanted to break up with him because he wasn't the same person I fell in love with. We haven't spoken since then. I just got a text from him that was meant for his boss. Was this an honest mistake or a way to contact me.

our history: we dated for 2 months and I broke up with him because I found out he told a girl he was single. after a month apart, he begged to have me back and gave me a promise ring that indicated his love for me. it was a nice gesture, he did all the right things and i took him back. everything was great when we dated again until he started getting depressed about this job and wanting to be alone and away from everyone. He asked for a break and we took a 2 day break lol 10 days later, he broke up with me because his heart isn't in the right place and he needs time to himself to figure his life out. he told me i deserve better and he wishes nothing but the best for me. i asked if there was someone else and he said no, which i believe.

This ex boyfriend of mine was my longest relationship of 6 months; He's very country and southern. I haven't spoken to him except for 5 minutes when his friend asked me if I still wanted to get back together with him, and we talked off his phone; this was about one month ago. Just last night though I had a dream where I met up with him because we have a lot of mutual friends and we agreed to workout the tension between us so when we hung out with friends we didn't want to kill each other. Some how though we ended up on a beach and we talked out everything, next thing I knew we were kissing and it wasn't a small kiss either, it was a long one and it felt like there was finally meaning and passion behind it. After the kiss I just broke down and started crying and he just held me saying "Everything was going to be okay and that we'd work it all out."(I never cried in front of him when we were together, and even when something was wrong he never held me like he did in my dream) While he was holding me though he pushed some hair back out of my face and kissed my forehead continuing saying "Everything's gonna be okay" after that we were back at his house and it was somehow now winter again, and I was talking to his mom and she said he really missed me. Then he came back into the room and gave me his favorite hunting jacket and we just cuddled on his couch with the fire going and watching movies; I'm not sure what would've happened next because I woke up.
If anyone could maybe help me on what this could possibly mean you'd be a great help! Also this is good to know, I'm now dating another guy, who is similar to him, but is at the same time completely different.

ok this is a weird question i know but today me and my boyfriend went into this store right and the first thing he said was do you think they have laxatives. i mean i guess its normal? right? and then i played dumb and was like oh are you lactose intolerant but hah that was a mistake. but we haven't been dating for even a month yet. i guess its nice he's comfortable around me if i want to look at it from that perspective. but im not sure this was like a really weird experience for me.

My ex broke with me two months ago for an unknown reason. We had a nice 2.5 month relationship and there weren't any issues so it was a real shock when he just stopped responding to my messages. And when i encountered him in a bar few days later he didn't want to talk to me at all so i just left it like that because i didn't want to push him into something he doesn't want to do. At first i was devastated, but after two months of successful NC he still hasn't called. I feel much better now and i'm ready to move on but one part of me still wonders will he ever call me? I really liked him (up to the point of break-up when i considered him rude) and he seemed to enjoy spending time with me so this breakup left me confused.

i know that nc should be about healing, not manipulating anyone and it worked great deal for me cause i don't feel hurt as i did when i started it. and i'm not trying to play mind-games with him, i just wanted both of us to cool down and not to talk to each other for a while.

so my question is this - has nc ever worked for you and how long did it take?

I haven't talked to my ex in four months since our failed attempt at being friends after we ended things and a few weeks ago he sent me a random snapchat of him and a girl.

Through her social media I know its a new girlfriend. I didn't respond because it seemed pointless.

Two days later he sent me another one, completely random of an animal.

He was my best friend and I've never been so close to a guy before. I know I was one of the most important people in his life and at one time he thought I was the whole package and that he's never connected with someone or been able to share as much personal stuff with anyone before as he did with me, including his ex girlfriend of 4 years. The loss of friendship was hard but overall I'm at a good place and if he's happy so am I.

He seemed nonchalant about our friendship ending and that he "knew it wasn't possible for things to go back to normal," so I just don't understand what that whole thing was?

Perhaps you have trust but it still crosses your mind.

Maybe something your partner says or does makes you wonder.

Maybe you have been cheated on and have trust issues.

Maybe you don't think anyone would ever cheat on you!

I met a guy via online dating. We talked for 5 weeks before meeting up. I guess I wanted to make sure he seemed normal, nice and decent. We opened up to each other about a lot of things, but as time would tell, he hid a lot too...



We slept together too early - second date. And then he pulled away and revealed more of his 'real ' self. no more sweet talking - and a lot more brash and up himself. then he would be sweet again, and send heaps of text messages, opening up about how he's a bad guy and bad influence, that his brother is a bikie and the gang comes over often. That he does drugs etc. I was shocked, but also compassionate. seemed like a cry for help. we got close again (talking - not sex) and the talks were good.



Then he was rude and asked me to pick him up from a date. I lost it and told him to grow up. It's like he enjoyed seeing that I cared. He then messaged and called asking me to please come over and see him - I ignored it.



Anyway I called him on his 'act' and games and pulled away. I told him I wouldn't see someone who treated me like dirt and spoke to me unkindly. He then put on the 'nice guy' act again, all because of the chase I think. And the harder I made it for him, the more he chased. He promised he just wanted me to give him a chance to make it right. and that if all I offered was friendship fine he would take that. so after a week of pleading, I gave in.



Wemet - but only as friends. I went to his place and he was p*ssed off when I left becuase I didn't sleep with him or even let him touch me. I told him if he begged to see me for so long after being friends, and he can't REALLY be friends - then leave me alone. It was a tactic to make him realize his own game had failed.

Anyway I still have a feeling ill hear from him again, maybe in a few days or a week. that's what he tends to do when I say 'dont contact me again'. What do I do then? He's made it clear he's talking to other girls - that's fine I'd rather someone else put up with the lies and games. but why does he keep coming back? Especially when he knows he's not getting anything from me now I know his game.

I was talking to this guy for about 3 weeks. He was all into me. Making time for me before and after work. Told me he couldn't believe he felt the way he did so soon. Then he tells me, he is spoiling me and has to stop giving me so much attention. After that I noticed a change. He wasn't trying to see me as much. He still texted and called, but it was always during his work hours, not after work. When I brought this to his attention he made an effort to change. During a conversation the topic of his children's mother came up. They seem like they get along so well(which is good) I asked him did he think they would get back together. He said maybe, he didn't know what the future held. That made me feel like maybe he was stringing me along, and maybe they are still involved. Here is where I messed up. I should have faded into the background, and dealt with him on a diff level. I told him it was best if we didn't talk anymore. We ended up getting into an argument via text, because he threw jabs and I threw back. I told him to loose my number and don't call. And he hasn't. Even after I apologized for not being "Christian like" (he had pointed that out in the text) He said some hurtful things, but I know he was upset for me telling him we should end it. I wish I hadn't told him to loose my number and not to call, because I do miss our conversations. Guys; Would you call back? From a guy's point of view what is he thinking? Part of me wants to call and tell him I didn't mean it and lets start over, but the other part of me keeps hearing him say, "It's my way, I write the book" and my head is saying "Don't you dare call him back, if he really cared he would reach out." What do you think?

We haven't talked in almost a year. We still had feelings for each other last time we talked, but I didn't want a relationship... well I did but I am dealing with stressful times, I still am, I love him and want to be with him... but I can't, at least for now... see this is what I hate... I feel like I'm leading him on, or that by saying merry Christmas he will think I'm interested again...I don't want to make him think that, but I'd hate to loose all contact with him... maybe I'm just being selfish... maybe I should leave him alone if I can't make up my mind? I don't want to play with his hear. I have already done that enough to him in the past...

I miss him so much and I just want to talk to him...

My parents have been together for over 30 years. I recently found concrete evidence that my mother cheated on my father over a span of 2 years with 3 guys regularly roughly 14 years ago.

My mother is a homemaker and has never worked a real job. My father is disabled but still provides for the family. I honestly don't think they'd be able to make it without each other.

They swear they love each other and I have no clue if my father knows or not. I'm not sure how to handle this situation. Any ideas/suggestions?

I'm happy for him. She's super pretty and seems nice too.

Should I like a picture of my ex and his new girlfriend on Facebook?

I want to do what is best for him tho and I don't want him to fight with her so I'm ambivalent. The picture is really nice.

I always think that women suffer more in a divorce.However,from what I have read in our local newspapers,it seems that there are more cases of men than women committing suicide when the marriage ends with a divorce.What do you think?

Girl #1: A good friend of yours had been talking about this girl he's liked since middle school. He's made numerous attempts to ask her to prom (including a wall sized chalk mural, guitar serenading, flowers & chocolate etc). She finally says yes. You & your girlfriend of 5 months meet her for the time. She is a 5'5" Filipino girl. 100lbs, very skinny (subtle curves, A-Cup, small butt), pretty face. After prom you, your girlfriend & friends go to her house. There, you discover she has multiple tiny pet chow-chows, does not play video games or likes sports, & prefers to stay at her large house w/family instead of go out, she has a high end fashion sense & a lot of money so she can buy you things. She is very nice & innocent looking w/a nice smile. (CONS:) She does not like dancing. Se went to prom w/the guy who loves her only so she could see which of his friends were single & soon became one's girlfriend. Throughout the relationship she would brag to the guy who loves her how great her boyfriend is. This creates a riff between your friends who do not like her. When they brokeup, she looked to him & your girlfriend for comfort. They both agree to help her & she ends up using him once again until he finally cracks & breaks their friendship. You tell your girlfriend "she's fake. I don't think we can trust her. Don't talk to her, she's trouble." When you did hang out with her, your girlfriend, her and your friend you discover she has very bad trust issues, is terrified of just about everything, nosey, spoiled, whinny/annoying & bitchy. She also is very argumentative. You also discover you have very little to nothing in common.

Girl #2: You met when she transferred to your school 4yrs ago. She was dating a guy in your class who you knew abused her & you were dating a girl already. You admired her from afar & she did the same. She is 5'3", Japanese and Filipino, 127lbs (very noticeable curves, D-cup and good sized butt)Your girlfriend makes you miserable & you leave her. After being friends for years you see she is nice everyone but isn't afraid to tell someone her opinion, she wears whatever is comfortable but nice, likes being w/friends & you, & always listens to you. You trust each other with everything. She loves video games (she plays mw3/Dead Island w/you & your friends every night) she loves to dance & have fun, loves cars, guns & sports, has a more wild/feisty personality, but is very loving & sweet. When together you watch horror movies left & right, shoot your air soft gun at cans in the backyard or play-wrestle. She loves cooking for you & making you happy & gets along very well with your friends and family.(CONS) She sometimes feels insecure because of her abusive ex but takes therapy. She has problems w/girls at her new school & vents to you sometimes. At times she can get overly affectionate. Would you date someone with a bunion?

Would you be disgusted or turned off if you found out your girlfriend/boyfriend had a bunion?

I have a friend who recently moved in with her boyfriend and he hates dogs with a passion. He's goes crazy every time he sees one and he thinks they smell bad. On top of that, he was bit by his family dog as a child, so they freak him out. Well, she's moving from her parents and she has a 9 year old yorshire terrier that she wants to bring with her because her parents don't want the responsibility of taking care of it. she's very attached to her dog she's had since she was 12 years old. If you were her what would you do?

I would like to know, in your honest opinion, what constitutes as PHYSICAL cheating, not emotional cheating, just plain physical cheating.

What I mean by this is, if you were in a relationship and you or your significant other decided to cheat, what is it that you have to physical do for it to be considered cheating? Or what is it that your boyfriend/girlfriend does that you would say, you cheated on me, we're done.

Some people have told me that it isn't cheating unless you have sex with another person. Others have told me that the second you touch another person it's considered cheating.

Again, I mean physical cheating, not emotional cheating. (Emotional cheating is more so being really flirty with another person to where you start developing feelings for this other person even when you're in a relationship)

So, do you consider it cheating as soon as they hold hands? Kiss? Only have sex? Or is it something else?

I don't want to repeat myself, but I'm just trying to make my meaning as clear as possible. Do you think it's cheating the second they hold hands? Or is holding hands okay, but as soon as they kiss THAT'S when it's considered cheating? Or do you only think it's cheating when they have sex?

I'm just curious to know what everyone thinks.
