Seriously! I tried Match, but I hated the matches I was getting... not attracted to anyone physically and no chemistry... Maybe most guys don't want to pay for online dating... so then you get guys going on Tinder. And in my view, ANY guy no matter HOW you meet him is going to want to fuck you first and foremost. Certain guys want to get to know you better before they do, but still. Tinder at least introduces you to people that you might otherwise not meet unless you bumped into them at a bar or wherever, and even then a girl usually has her guard up.
Oh shit...@Bards I feel for you lol. I live in the Bay area, where straight single guys SIGNIFICANTLY outweigh the number of single quality chicks, so lucky me lol. Seriously, within the span of a month, 3 out of 5 guys I went on a first date with asked me to be their girlfriend (and make it "facebook official" by the first night).
@Bards LMAO... at least you're still super young. But yeah, these guys were in it for real. And what's weird, is that they were all younger than me (I'm 32, they are 27-31). I was totally not used to guys wanting to commit that seriously so soon... But again, at least you're young and can travel wherever you want to go. Being in the bay area does give the advantage of a ton of single straight guys versus girls, and they are so sweet and want to lock you down once they have you. Come out here, girl! LOL
The bay area is where nerdy smart guys get really REALLY hot in their late 20s and invent things like Snapchat or whatever, usually work in tech or some amazing job, and then are sweet and genuine for the right girl lol. My problem is that there are so many to choose from! I never dated until I was 21 (in grad school)... Now I'm like... Whaaat? lol. Tons of genuine people out here (which is most important to me). Of COURSE there are some dudes on Tinder out here just for sex, but I'm pretty good at weeding them out.
Oh - and if you're asking about scenery, bay area is beautiful, tons of beaches (although the water isn't warm lol), tons of hiking/ nature, almost always sunny, no humidity (unless you're comparing it to Vegas/ Scottsdale), and tons of things to do. I'm originally from Oregon, but have lived in a bunch of different places (I'm totally "grass is greener" kind of person). The bay area is great.
Ohhhh @Bards... the city for the bay area is San Francisco mainly, but then there is also Oakland in the East Bay. It's huge here, Soooo many people (and so many options ;) ... lol)
What Girls & Guys Said

Did it ever occur to you that some of these girls only want a one night stand?
Barely any of them do.
As I said I'm majoritively speaking
And I'm saying I don't think you realise how many girls aren't on tinder for a relationship. At least half
I don't use Tinder. I believe that if the time is right for me to meet a guy, then I will meet someone. I believe in magic :P
I haven't tried it, but figure it would be a bit confusing to have so many horses in the race at once, so to speak.
Apart from that it seems to be effective for hookups, from what I hear.
the "swipe right" part is true, its a numbers game lol. my friends swipe right to almost every girl, get their matches, then take their pick.
people abuse tinder like they are abusing their pet dog
"FUCK Dating apps, go and talk to your crush you spineless little twat."
Hahahahahahaha
It's funny how all this guys are swipping RIGHT and boosting EVERY single girl EGO. FUCK THAT, Go out and forget about that girls.
Have BALLS -> go out -> approach a girl and talk :)
I stopped taking online dating seriously. I use it and while I've been able to meet a lot of women on there, nothing has led to anything serious.
I think online dating has done more harm than help nowadays.
6. It just doesn't work.
Tinder is nothing but a time waster. Rarely will you (guys) get any matches in the first place.
Why your not try to meet in real life these apps dont help you o find the perfect partner for you :)
Well I always figured people who can't get a person in real life use tinder I think I was wrong then
I don't get why people use dating apps. I asked out my crush because everyone kept telling me that they hought he liked me and they were all wrong.
Tinder really is only designed for really attractive people. Useless tool for average people.
I met my boyfriend thanks to Tinder. And he is a gentleman.
Lol half the girls here are trying to rationalize it.
Tinder is still revalent?
People use Tinder as a full on dating site these days!
@Prof_Don thats shocking

@Janice25 *sigh* Thats very true :/
But it also depends on your area. Florida IS FUCKING HORRIBLE for tinder.

@Janice25 OH MY GOD. I'm legit salty right now! Seriously! ?
I live in Miramar though bleh. Even if I max out the radius, 0 dates from anyone I'm interested in xD
I'm really glad it worked for you!

@Janice25 and ohh older guys around that age can be more serious than the ones around my age loloo! Bay area is like Palm Beach or?

@Janice25 wow that sounds like great guys!! And noo I meant like is that Tampa, Palm Beach, etc. Like whats the city for the bay area?
I haven't explored Florida much even though I was born there xD Really can't wait to.
Ohhhh @Bards... the city for the bay area is San Francisco mainly, but then there is also Oakland in the East Bay. It's huge here, Soooo many people (and so many options ;) ... lol)
LOL OH A DIFFERENT STATE ughhh no wonder. @Janice25 those cities are good places, a better variety like new york but cooollddd.
Point 3 makes this entire take redundant.
I don't even know what Tinder is. Let me Google...
What's google? :-P
I've tried it, It doesn't work for me
