I would say that it probably is a good sign.
but ofc it depends of the situation.
if you are texting and it comes very suddenly and maybe quite early in the evening chances are she just doesn’t want to text more that night which could mean that she isn’t that interested…

but in most cases it is an indication that she cares about you and/or that you are on her mind when it is time to sleep.

If she sent the good night our of nowhere (not during a conversation) it is an even better indication of care and thinking about you… cause if she sends it right out of nowhere it means that she had you on her mind even though you weren’t texting at the time.

But sometimes a good night is just a way to say goodbye when you can’t or don’t want to text anymore… and it could be sent to a friend, parent… friend zoned date etc… and I have friends that sends a good night snap to every snap friend they have every single day… so people are different… but I think most people wouldn’t use the phrase “good night” that much because for some reason it is a little intimate.

For mine it means she wants me to know I was on her mind at night before she slept. Just a little thing to show she cares about me.

Also it probably means either that she is going to bed (for sleep), or for whatever reason she anticipates that you may be going to bed soon (too sleep)... or it may mean that she wants/wanted you to say goodnight to *her* as well, but that's more conjectural...
