I always pay for the first date. If I like her, I'll do every little thing I can to make a positive impression. Picking up the tab is probably the simplest thing there is.
I don't really care who pays. But it is nice and polite to pay for dates. Obviously later one, her paying would be nice, but for the first date, I'd be fine with paying.
@Iron_Man Lol I ain't funding her trip to Mars. We're essentially paying relatively our dues for what we asked for for the waiter but estimating cuz math is hard
I always pay, and I do it because I want to. If I think highly enough of a girl to invite her on a date, I pay. It's courtesy to pay when you invite someone else to have dinner with you.

No, I do not mind paying for the first date at all. I expect her to pay the bill on the 2nd. date.
I would definitely pay for the first date with a girl that is part of my old fashion morals.
I would only go on a date with a girl if i already knew her for long enough so i dont mind paying for the first date in that case. I voted B.
Not at all! I usually do that, it was worth the time!
I don't mind, I mean it makes me happy to see a smile on the first date 😋
I can afford paying the bill everytime so why the heck not

I usually split, to make sure that nobody feels used or taken advantage of.
But if I make way more than she does, or if I know she isn't working, then I don't mind paying. :-D
As long as we had a good time I don't care about the bill on a first date. It could be the beginning of your happy life together :D
I like doing nice things for people but don't want to feel like I need to pay for her company. If I sensed that, it would be over.
If he asked me out on the first date, then he'll pay but if I asked him, then I'll pay. Too me, its whoever asked first pays the bill.
That's a good principle, but only for the minority of women who would actually ever ask a guy out.
@JohnDoe3000 Thank you! Finally someone who gets it!

If I asked her out then I better pay the damn bill lol
What about after that then who pays the bill?
@Iron_Man We become a socialist couple who divide the money per bill
More leaning towards how much we ordered
You're better off that way. You will save a lot of money because I've been through this before I broken my back spending everything I've got on her

Well for me personally I funded my girlfriend's trip to Mars and everything else and that won't ever happen again
@Iron_Man Sorry bruh. But hey at least you're Iron Man so u can make that trip lol
I put my dues in and I also have lived and learned
If im the one inviting, i pay the whole thing of possible, but i think spliting is the more realistic one for me now.

If I invited her on a date, I'd pay the bill. If she invited me, then she should pay the bill.
If I'm taking someone out I usually offer to pay just because I'm planning the evening in that case.
It depends
if i asked them on the date then ill pay.
you can't just ask someone to go spend money with you.
If they ask me to go, then they're paying.
if we agree on it
then either one of us will pay or we pay our own way.
I don't mind, it's no problem. If I don't like a girl, I just wouldn't go on a date.
She'd have to make a pretty strong impression for me to actually want to pay for her.
