So I met this guy like 3 weeks ago. At first we texted back and forth every day for few days and then he asked me on a date. The date was great, we didn't kiss but he suggested another date for the upcoming weekend. I said yes and we agreed on movie, it was my pick. We kept texting for few more days and then it all went south... Since he was the first to initiate the last time, after 5 days of radio silence I decided to text him. He responded quickly and the convo was really nice. He even asked me if I went on a date with someone else in the meanwhile and I said no. Then I asked him if we're still up for the movie and he said he's he is just that he's not in the mood these days and that we'll watch it when he gets better. Few days after that I went on a 5 days vacation with my best girl friend (he knew I was going) but he didn't contact me at all while I was there. I posted few pics on Instagram while on a vacation and he liked every single of them, he also liked some stuff I posted on FB, but no word from him. And so I came back and when it has been total of 8 days the last time we talked, I texted him casually. He replied enthusiastically, he asked me how was on my vacation and he again asked if there were any hot guys on the beach trying to hook up with me. I responded honestly that there were plenty but that I wasn't interested. I asked him if he's feeling better now and he said he's feeling great, that he was just partying like crazy these few days and feels exhausted now. This really pissed me off, so he's feeling great, partying and shit, but makes no effort or time to pick a goddamn phone to contact me or to set up a second date, he knows I was waiting for him to "get better". So I just left him on "seen" yesterday and I'm not planing to text him first ever again. What do you think it's his deal? Maybe he friendzoned me?

I'm pretty sure he likes u but him constantly asking if you have other dudes around shows he the jealous type. He probably has issues he's not letting you know about and he's just tryna show off by saying he went to a party he probably didn't. My thing is if u like him it's better to let him know cuz some guys are just really stupid and will forever be intimidated even or too shy to notice you like them. I'm guessing he does like u however he needs a push so let him know and then if he's still dumb he's not worth it

Sounds like he is just half assing it. He is not sure what he wants and isn't serious. He just sort of wants to feel it out and keep it very casual and keep. his options open. Im sure if he really wanted to see you he would make a effort. Honestly he sounds lazy and I think you can do better 😚

This guy isn't interested. At your age, both of you have nearly countless romantic options. I actually think that asking you if you had been on other dates is a tell -- he's clearly going out with other women. What he's doing is really common with guys as he simply has found more interesting prospects but is just leaving you hanging in case the better prospects don't pan out. There are thousands of guys out there who would love to take you out so move on and go for someone who isn't going to waste your time.
