Personally I think it'd at least be very difficult. There are many things that such a big age gap affects in a serious relationship. You two kinda live on different timelines. When you're going to work he'll be retired and towards the end of your life you'll be alone. Then there's stuff like children, your families and a generational gap etc. I don't know if you've considered enough to seriously date this man. Guys your age tend not to be very serious about relationships yet, like you said, but I still think you should try find someone closer to your age, maybe just like 5 years older or something?

Dating an older man can be really fun and exciting as long as you realize it's nothing serious
Hell no. Even my dad is younger. I prefer a boy around my age.
Girl, you will probably regret it if you go for it.
I mean whenever I think of that kind of difference I just think about how weird that relationship will get if it does work out. He'll be 54 when you're 29. :/ I get looks don't mean a whole lot to woman, but his sex drive will never match yours and you'll probably be like a nurse to him at that point. I would say find a nice guy your age, but I know the confident ones just want sex and the goods ones will probably not approach you. Honestly let him find a girl his own age. That's just honestly the best thing for both of you :/
From one side it seems ok but if both of ended up in long term, then there would be problemo

with older I expected more like the guys of my age 24-30 like. but 44 holy shit.. girl that person is more after sex with you then boys your age... there are plenty of boys at your age or a bit higher. that are looking for a serious relationship where it's not just about sex.. change ur perspective and leave ur past behind yah.
if you really want to I'd say go for it with the old fart. but watch my words he will not commit himself to a full on relationship with yah. purely cuz it's wrong for people his age. he might have some fun playing with yah. but at a point he will toss yah away like ur nothing. It really depends on the individuals at the end of the day. You're over 18 so, it wouldn't be an obstruction legally, but you may find that due to the age gap, the amount of things you both can relate to might be limited. Age does matter because people might not be able to connect because of the differences.
I get it guys your age too immature. but guys his age are bit smarter then you think and can easily take advantage of you. even manipulate you. lots more experience means he can out think you and use it to control you. be careful. also trust me,, he's in it for the sex too
I assure you. the 44 year old is dating the 19 year old sex. not conversation
An age difference in and of itself is not a valid reason to reject someone who might turn out to be a great person.
You're a lawful adult though, you can decide for yourself.I'm 33 would anybody date me, hell yes, i get looked at by tall short fine and ugly, grenades, bitches and saggy grannies. All are welcome in Edgar's kingdom of love.
he's going to be more kind gentle protective and make you feel a lot more secure baby he's going to treat you with a lot more respect and the sex will be good too baby
He's going to be in it for sex with a woman less than half his age and you are really sexy.
I mean i'm dating a woman whose 23 years older than I am, I would be a hypocrite to say 'no'. Go do what you want to do & be safe, lady.
Nope, i only accept 1-5 years, I have no interested in old man.
you are both adults so it should be ok.
get to know each other.dating older people is fine but I think this guy is a little too old
Ok so you hate all men of your generation based on the few you "dated"?
Nice logic.Holy crap no. That's my dad's age
No...10+ age gap is bad
I see the age difference as a good thing
