Last week I had the most magical first date with a new boy. We met for drinks on a rooftop patio and had so much to talk about we kept forgetting to look at the menu and order food. Hours later, we left the bar and walked to our cars and wished eachother a good night (no kiss or touching).
Last night, he picked me up for drinks and dinner. We laughed and talked for hours, and even popped into a neighbouring bar to say hi to some of my work friends (for which I appologized but he seemed ok with, introduced himself to everyone). We got back to my house, and had been talking about a show he had me watching. I offered for him to come inside and watch with me in spite of his early morning, he agreed and we hung out for three more hours on my couch 'watching TV' but really just talking and joking, his hand resting on my leg. It got late and he worked at 6am so he head out, I walked him to the door. He said he had a great time and began to open his arms slightly, so I went in for a hug. We both got a bit awkward at that point, him saying "well if you want to do this again just let me know" despite us talking all night about "next time". I joked that obviously we'd meet back up and he should bring his dog etc, he said he knows she'll love me. When he got home he texted me again, and we've been texting since.
I'm just so not good with making the first move. He's older, and likely more experienced, why hasn't he made one yet?
