Why has my boyfriend changed overnight?

I went away on holiday last night and I won't be back till next week to see him. Me and my boyfriend where fine before I left. The minute I left for my holiday he started doing things I don't like. And that he wouldn't do if I was there. And usually he loves to be on the phone to me literally till the minute he falls asleep and then now he doesn't want to speak to me at all he doesn't want to no me. I've said to him if he's wanting to finish the relationship I'll do it and save him the job and he's saying he needs time to think but I've told him I'll just end it for him and he's saying no he doesn't want to split up he wants to stay but then saying he still doesn't want to talk to me or leave me. He's treating me so bad and making me cry all the time something he never normally does. What is going on?
