So I've known this girl for years and I always thought she was cute but never in like an I want to date you way. But as I spent time with her more and more this year I realized I loved some things about her that had very little to do with how cute she was like her laugh or her smile. Its gotten to the point where I feel like I want to marry this young lady. I'm in college and she's a sophmore in high school. Am I crossing a line by feeling this way or is it ok I should just wait until she's older?

Probably Not, it depends on your age, you could be 18 and she 16 for all we know and most if not all states in America at least allow that age gap. So than morally we ask if 16 is okay to have sexual contact with 18 why not 19? So while it might not be legal to have sexual contact it is in no way pediophillia in the sense of say a 40 year old and someone who is under 18. But again some states have that age lowered to 16 if they get married with the parents consent so pediophillia usually deals with children rather than teenagers getting ready to enter adulthood.

If you're in college and she's a sophomore in high school, then that means she's about 16 and you're probably no older than 21. Is that correct? Technically, I think that's against the law in a lot of places but I don't know that I'd automatically label you a pedophile.

You waited over the years and watched her grow as you waited for the right time time to strike. Not something i would do, but You already waited this long dude, might as well finish your plans. Wait until she is 18 and then tell her " i have been watching you for a very long time, ever since you were a child" because well, thats what you really did. Again i wouldn't do this, but thats how you roll but i dont judge as long as she's of age.

Its not paedophelia in any way. Not in its true definition anyway. Assuming she's bout 16 n ur bout 21 its not a big deal really. We can't help who we fall for but saying that... there's always the namby pamby poxy do gooders with far too much time on their hands. My advice is.. if u both like each other n both are happy to be together etc then date but dont rush anything. Ur both still young n plenty of time to grow up more so take it very easy
