What do guys think when they see their girlfriend without makeup?

I’ve been dating this guy for a relatively short amount of time, but as we were going swimming on a date I didn’t wear makeup.

I felt surprisingly comfortable around him without makeup, even though I have acne - is this good that I can be myself, or does it show that I don’t really care about my appearance around him?

He said my face looked ‘different’ but I don’t know if he meant it in a good or bad way, so I was just wondering, what do guys think when they see a girl without makeup for the first time?

My girlfriend doesn’t really wear makeup, maybe only a little nail polish, and I think once she did some around her eyes.
Personally, I like the natural look, I like that you can be confident enough to be normal around me (despite what society and whatever tells)

Makeup should be to make the guy feel special. Not needed for everyday I think.

I think you need to not cover up your face so much so as to create this situation. When i was your age I never worried about these things, you were never born in makeup you know.

My boyfriend doesn’t even notice it when I wear make up or when I don’t. He doesn’t look at it because he looks at the whole picture, not just a small detail.

It was interesting one day in my class because the teacher asked the lads to put up their hands if they like make up on girls. They all kept their hands down

Yea I know. Boys don't like it. The make up industry lives off of trying to make girls insecure and convinces them they'll look better so they can make money from you.
