So I met this guy on tinder. He likes to call me more than text. I slept over last night and we went out for food and had sex. he's been telling me

"I really like you and I want to spend time with you. I really wanna get to know you"

Even before he would tell me he really wants to meet me. He even told me "if you stick around long enough then maybe I'll let you meet my daughter"

We're both in our early 20's. He doesn't get along with his baby mama at all.

He keep telling me last night before we went to bed "this won't be the only time I'll spend time with you" he cuddled with me at night when we slept.

Here's the thing... he wants to basically be fuck buddy's. He said "I wanna get to know you a lot more. You're so down to earth. I really really do like you. I wanna take you out for dinner next time we see each other. I have seen a few girls I'd like to talk to, but I'm not sure if I will. I'm probably gonna delete my tinder. If you go out on dates with guys, I'm ok with that. I might spend time with a girl too. But I don't want you to have sex with anyone else but me. If you have sex with someone else then tell me. I won't have sex with anyone else either, but if something happens then I'll tell you.

I'm wonder WHY he doesn't want me to have sex with anyone else. He told me he wants a hang out vibe. But I'm confused.

If you have to ask then it isn't a real relationship. Anytime i hear (read) the term "baby mama" i get goosebumps of cringe. It makes me not trust the person who has a "baby momma" nor the person involving themselves in that. However, he does appear to be suggesting that he would rather you and he be official and monogamous but is afraid to be straight forward and say "look, i dont want you sleeping with other guys because im not comfortable with it" so he's sugar coating his distaste. he's also saying that if you do sleep with anyone else he will forget trying to be extra nice to you and will no longer want further regular contact with you.

What do you want? He appears to want to settle down and be monogamous but is afraid to dedicate himself to it, likely due to a history of women who were not sharing those values. He wonders and hopes you DO share those values.

Most guys don't want their girl to f**k other guys. That is just the way it is and you should know that. Take the rest of what he says with a grain of salt. All women force men to lie because they will give sex if they lie and say what they want to hear. However, they will deny sex if the man tells the truth.

For example, if a guy lies and says, "You are perfect for me. You are the girl I want to marry," you will reward him with sex. However, if he tells the truth and says, "You are good enough for sex, but for a wife, I want someone better," you will punish him by denying sex.

What he is doing is leaving room for you to commit, but also making sure that if you lose interest in him, or you find someone you like better, that when you leave he will be able to tell himself that its ok, because you were never committed. When he says he wants to spent time with you it is because having sex with you validates him, but also leaves him feeling empty. Having sex and hanging out a little, is probably all he thinks he is worth.
That is probably what his relationship was like with the baby momma but when he wanted to get closer she didn't want anything more having someone who created a life with you, not want you in their life any more than casually.. must make him feel worthless. Can you understand?
