Same as any other people, they get a bad experience and then get filled with paranoia and blame a whole group.
I've never had a gold digger experience so cannot relate. I am suspicious of girls having a backup guy though because it has been my experience girls have a new partner very soon after a breakup and it's always someone they knew whilst with you. Turns out this is a real thing and it's not just me, but oh well.
