I lied to my boyfriend about my age and feel really guilty. How should I tell him?

Hi guys... I'm turning 19 this year and I'm dating a 27 year old. We met last year and we've been dating for almost a year. I however moved out of town so were long distanced now.
I lied to my boyfriend that I am 20 years old... i. e turning 21 this year. Didn't know our relationship would get serious. Now I feel guilty and I wouldn't want to loose him... How do I tell him the truth from afar?

Well at least you were still legal when you met and you’re only talking 2 years less than what you said. He would be more angry at you if you were 17 at the time instead so maybe he won’t really be mad when you tell him because I know I wouldn’t be

Just tell him you’re a little younger then you originally said but were still legal at the time that he met you
