There was a guy who was super nice when he thought I was able to date him and after I rejected him he hated my guts

It occurred to me today - he hated me because he spent 3 months pretending to be a good person to get me and then when I rejected him all his effort went to waste

Like would you be angry if you spent 3 months working for a boss and then he refused to pay you?

I do things cause I want to and not because I want to be liked so I don't hate people who turn me down

Hahaha just kidding, well kind of. I do happen to do some "bad boy" things like ride a motorcyle, play pool reallly well, and rebel against authority/have my own independence.

As for "pretending to be good", I think it's fair to say almost everyone regardless of gender is going to put their best foot forward and try to impress someone they find attractive. There are definitely some who lie and manipulate and hide the truth because they are (rightfully, usually) ashamed of how their real life is going (like they don't have a job, or do have a drug addiction, are just lazy or not very impressive). It doesn't take too long to see the truth, though, if you just pay attention and spend a decent amount of time with someone. These "relationship scam artists" can play on the fact that most people these days are too self-absorbed and spending more time on their phones than actually paying attention to who they are with, in order to keep up the charade longer than they would normally be able to.

Not me but an ex friend of mine is a real psychopath.
This guy would try to make himself look like such a good man but in reality all he cared about was getting some pussy.
And because I'm a Christian he would also try to be a nice person around me But for years there was always something nagging me about him and then one day my girlfriend messaged me saying he was flirting with her over Facebook and keep in mind he's also in a relationship getting all the sex he wants (according to him)

The women should really be careful out there when dating because there are a lot of men that only see you women as sex objects and nothing more and they will put on their mask to pretend to be whoever you want them to be just to get some pussy.
Most aren't as bad as my ex friend but I've got a lot of guy friends and they all have the same type of philosophy, Hit it and quit it.

I think they do. A few months ago I was dating someone and I got extremely sick and depressed for two months, I was going to the hospital every week and was taking medication everyday several times a day. When this guy realized what I was going through he decided to take me to the hospital, stayed with me and took good care of me. A few months later he started pulling away, late replies, no more phone calls, he didn't even had the dignity to tell me he wasn't interested anymore or that he didn't want to date me anymore. Trust me men can be very nice to you to get what they want, they will be very nice to you for a few months and suddenly they disappear. It is was it is.

Yes, there are some men out there who are very conning and will try to trick women into having sex with them, going on dates, etc. for their own benefits. That's why you have to be very careful, and vet men diligently before giving any man access to your time, energy, youth, womb, body etc. There are a lot of guys out there who have no problem making empty promises but will drag clueless women around for years. This is why men don't get why women can be very picky when it comes to choosing a life mate, it doesn't mean we hate men or only want the top 5% percent of men. Nah that’s too annoying and I find it to tiresome. I have to be me all the time to feel my confidence and ego to go to higher levels than what already is.

Yes, this same thing happened to me except the guy decided to harass me for 2 months. He would follow/ corner me and pull full on adult tantrums because he couldn’t have access to my body which he clearly felt entitled to.

People are not nice. I think everyone should know that. I mean i am nice towards people mostly.. but if i get hurt by any of them, i would not be nice anymore.

I am sure there are guys that do that. But, for the most part, guys don't. What would be the point? If you are looking to be with someone long term, it makes no sense to be someone you are not. That will not last. If she doesn't like you for who you are, no reason to be in a relationship.
