That's your problem right there. You're too much of a coward to approach women. It's your job as a man to do the approaching. The vast majority of women will never approach any man. You need to gain some courage and confidence and start approaching. Otherwise remain a coward forever and then you will deserve being alone forever.

Yes, approaching women is a risk. They may reject you. So what. Everyone gets rejected. You cannot have anything worthwhile in life if you don't take risks though. Nothing worthwhile is ever just handed to you. A risk-free life may be safe, but it's also a very boring, very unhappy, and very unfulfilling life.

t's beginning to look like I'll wind up an old maid. I may be socially inept or just too weird for some guys. Some people are just socially crippled and have a hard time relating to others. For instance, when they plan for a date they want to take her to a shooting range instead of out to dinner. They say things that are awkward or not even relevant to the conversation. They don't talk much unless you lead the conversation. They just don't know how to act around other people. I don't even know how to fix something like that but sometimes being on a site like GaG you can learn a lot by replying to others questions and get the hang out of exchanging ideas or feelings. I might also recommend the book "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. It is worth a read.

I don't have my eyes on anyone right now and if I continue to feel this way. Then yeah staying single forever is a great idea.

I've never been with anyone though, so I can't miss what I've never had and my perfect partner, more than likely doesn't exist, but as long as I'm happy, I don't care, because there's no better feeling than happiness.

In a few years I'll be paralyzed and I can't exactly see that being bankable in the world of dating
Add in other medical issues that are likely hereditary so I don't wish to pass that on
