Want to ask a coworker out but I'm afraid of rejection/consequences this might carry?

I don't want to have any serious relationship, only want to have a good time (sex is included of course). I haven't asked any women out because I don't know what the consequences of it might be. So, my issue is I want to ask a co-worker out but I don't want her to see me as being disrespectful for wanting an adventure with her. Do I just ask her out and risk it all? I heard I have to be clear with girls from the very beginning on what I want from the relationship. What do you girls/guys think?

You know this is the truth so stand up to your worries and fears and take that chance.
What good is it to have feelings for someone if you never tell them. Have fun taking those feelings to the grave and she dates other guys and marries someone else... etc.

Maybe she won't be interested and she'll say no. Maybe you'll date... have a falling out and then it is weird at work. Maybe she'll be the love of your life and you'll be together until death. Who knows.
