Does anyone else feel like a good guy/girl that's grown jaded and cynical by the modern dating scene?

Are you a once-romantic male or female who has become sick of the modern dating world and people being asshats, selfish, liars, part-time gay ("bi"), polyamorous/cheaters ("open relationship" types), sluts, whores, f*ck-boys, and other wastes of time who aren't looking for actual companionship or a relationship?

I spent my whole twenties searching for a proper relationship with the right woman, only to be told 80% of the time I was "too short" for them, or "I ONLY date guys taller than six feet," or "I don't date outside my race," or "I only like white guys," or "I'm only into athletic/buff guys", or anything else along those lines?

Have you too quit pursuing a partner because of any number of stupid reasons from shallow terrible singles out there?

Honestly, I've never even been in the dating scene/game in the first place because I knew beforehand it didn't interest me!
I never felt like the dating scene was interesting in the first place because it's very superficial and not serious enough for my taste.
This definitely sounds old school but I'd have rather just married someone my parents met and found nice and husband material, than spend 10+ years of my life lurking in pubs and night clubs in hope of finding prince charming, taking him home, trying different guys and failing until I reach my 30s where I realize I still haven't found a fitting husband but already have slept with dozens of guys.
