Some people can't handle it and you need to be the better person and respect that. ( you damage them on a level that many times can destroy that person for ever )

As long as you would feel okay, if someone dated you because they felt lonely.
I'm the exact same. I want to date someone but I have no idea how. It feels like there is both a very specific way of doing it and a million ways to do it.
I did it one time but the girl was not bothered after I told her that I don't love her, which was 11 months after we started dating. She just stopped the relationship without feeling sorry at all.

Yeah, just keep it light and don’t lead them on and act like it’s serious.
There are probably tons of girls who would love that.
Go ahead and date someone. Better than nothing, especially if you are lonely.
If you're honest about it with the person you are dating, why not?
If you don't say that's the reason you are dating someone, then that is a big no no.
Just be honest about it.

Nah... that would be a pretty crappy way to use someone.
Maybe. Do you have someone in mind that you already like?
Sure! Why not? Just be careful not to let it become something bigger in their eyes.
Two dislikes? WHY? Would you rather let a guy think it's more than it is and then break his heart? Are you INTO having a broken heart?
I wouldn't say it would be a good idea. There's a difference between being alone and lonely, a big difference.

Casual dating is fine. Just don’t have sex or anything out of loneliness. Don’t make it a serious relationship unless it’s out of love.

Sure, everyone has to start somewhere, and that's a good reason. That's how friendships and then relationships begin.

You would not be the first and you will not be the last to do so.
Maybe don't make it a date. My sister used to go to Panera every day after school with a guy. They never had any interest in dating
Of course its okay. That's one of the main reasons most people date.
Yes; go for it! Just swipe right on the girls that are looking for "Something Casual."
Yeah that’s like the only reason to date pretty much. Just don’t think dating is easy
