Usually not but I can think of some exceptions. For example, I had this horrible first date one time. Then we kind of ghosted each other but it was clear we really don't match at all. So I was kind of grateful that she didn't keep trying to reach out to me after, and she was probably grateful that I didn't keep trying to reach out to her.
Rejection means you know how the other person feels and that it won't work out. Wheb you are ghosted you are left with hope of the other person contacting you and with unanswered questions.

Closure. I need that or else i won’t move on. You’ll just hurt me.
I prefer being ghosted. At least that way I won't be pinpointed on a specific attribute that wasn't up to standard and rather be able to feel like an overall failure in all aspects of my being 🙂

I'd prefer neither but since that isn't possible, rejection cause at least I know it's over.
But I'd rather just not try to avoid either altogether.
I suppose it depends on whether I liked the girl or not.

I actually don't mind being ghosted. I don't always need to know why someone doesn't like me.
If I'm not really into the person, then no it's not a big deal, but if I really like them then rejection's the better option.
That's a good point.
Isn’t rejection the adult way to go about things?
Absolutely. I think people ghost because they simply don't want conflict in their life.

I'd much rather be rejected. Because then I can move on.
I got ghosted just last week! Pretty lame move in my opinion!
They both about the same with rejection you do know where you stand
Rejected its better than pretending they like you and ghosting you
I'd rather have a woman tell me she's not interested in me than ghost me, especially if I was really interested in her.
I've been rejected so many times that I don't care anymore
With rejection I have closure
It is quick and greasy to be rejected.
Ghosting is immature and horrible
They both a rejection.
I’d rather someone be honest
Rejection is way better
Polite rejection. At least there's a closure
