I ended up on a "date" with a guy I liked 5 years, is there any hope for this situation?

Basically, I got asked on a date by a guy I met 5 years ago. Nothing happened we just talked back then. And he can't remember now. But I can because he was the first guy I spoke to in a new city. Anyhow we ended up sleeping together the same night. I got lost in the moment of seeing him again and thinking it was "fate". Since then, I found out he's leaving in August to go back to his home country. When I asked him if it was for good he replied "not exactly, well talk in person". But we only text to meet up and the chats always get sexual. So I think a sexual relationship is all he wanted. He took me out to dinner on first meet and now wants to hang at home all the time. But I still like him and I'm torn wondering whether to say anything or not. Proceed with an friends with benefits situation or just let go.
