I see a guy as a friend when he doesn’t insist to pay on the first few days, how do guys feel about paying on the first date?

I don’t know why, but I don’t like guys that don’t pay on the first date. I don’t need for them to pay for my dinners and drinks but I like it when a guy pays because he wants to act like a gentleman with me

I pay when I can but it’s just polite to, if they insist on splitting I’d probably argue unless they don’t relent, but otherwise I do it not cause “men should”, just cause anyone who’s really wanting to share an experience with someone like this, would wanna try make the other have as good a time as they can, I’m in my own shoes and I can make whoever I’m dating more happy by paying. I’m just more likely the one to pay only because I’m stubborn
