Yes, This actually happened to me recently, has that is how my current relationship started.

It was during covid of 2020 and the game Among Us became popular, friends of mine got a group to play together and my girlfriend was one of them which was the first time I had talked to her. We started talking and I realized I really liked talking to her, but I had no idea what she looked like. We talked for maybe 3 months before we finally met, just based on timing and covid, but by the time I saw what she looked like (very pretty by the way) I was already interested in her just based on who she was.

The 2nd part of answer just depends on the guy, as every guy likes a very different type of girl. I liked my Girlfriend because she was very funny, took no shit from no one, independent and very opinionated. Which these traits work for me, because like everyone, I like to laugh, I like to live my own life and so I don't want someone is very dependent, and I am very passive when it comes to most things.
