Should this woman hold herself accountable for lack of success in dating apps?

27F, I’ve been on and off for years. Most of the time, the guys always sent the first message. However, the guys that usually made the first move I didn’t like back or vice versa. For a few months, I’ve been on bumble. Guys have replied and I met up with a guy for the first time from bumble last week but I didn’t feel anything. A lot of women have said they had more success in dating when they approached the guy first but I’m still having no luck. I figured maybe being the initiator versus apps where guys can make the first move would change my luck but not the case.

An other thing is.
It usually takes time to build feelings.
With that said it very rarely triggers feelings on first second or fourth date.
If you get feelings on the first date it's more likely due to to fast triggered or someone that's gonna be trouble.

Doesn't mean you need to sleep with someone.

It's impossible to say just from that. We'd have to see your interactions with these guys in order to say. But I will say you should give a guy a chance with multiple dates (like 3-5) unless there's an obvious dealbreaker.

Its worth remembering that dating apps don't actually have an interest in getting you to leave the app, its not always the best way to enter dating.

But yeah as far as I can see the other comments have also said but its worth saying again, you should give people a chance. You might not like them right aways but talk for a while and see what happens. There is no point just instantly dismissing someone for no reason. Even just one date seems like very little

I recommend giving the guys who message you a chance by meeting up cos it's very different in person vs chatting in an app. Also in general, meet up with the guys sooner rather than later.
