My sister is completely in love with this guy from her school. So much so, it is making her depressed that she’s not dating him, and her mood is terrible all the time... dumb to let a crush affect you like that I know, but that’s what’s happening.

She won’t ever tell him, and they’re not even really friends but have had a few friendly conversations. I have come up with an idea, that I should dm him and let him know...

Good or bad idea?

Also this is the message I would send to him if you can be bothered reading it... I really want to see what others think about this because it’s risky and could backfire real bad 😆

Meh, whether it is wrong or right or not wil be determined mostly by the outcome and you can't know that ahead of time.

There are scenarios in which this all goes well and people are grateful and of course scenarios where it all goes badly and you have to live with the truth of the matter which is that you involved yourself in someone elses business, broke their confidence etc and that could be a problem.

Most people dont get on so its highly likely that this won't work out.

She might be enjoying her crush, it might be better than the reality ever could be and if you send that message it is highly likely that you will be ending this for her one way or another.

I dont really think thats fair, its her life and her choices to make, you should encourage her to say something to him but i dont think it is your place to take actions for her.

You dont have to live with the consequences so you dont make the choices.

Good idea and message. I fully support it. Even if he ended up not liking her that way it is still good to have an answer so she could move on.

Just don't expect her to not find out that you sent the message. Of course that will come out eventually.

Mmm I think it is not a good idea although it seems like a solution to your sister’s problems.
But can you imagine if the guy turns out to be an asshole, it will ruin your sister’s life because your message may be broadcasted to a lot of people in school…
I think making her own move or getting over her crush is a lesson she needs to learn by herself
