I'm not a woman, but I think a lot of them would find you attractive. I don't think it's necessarily your looks? But I'm a few years older and haven't found anyone either. But don't "give up". And your insecurity might show, which women seem to pick up on quickly and tends to turn them right off (yet they can have them lol). Myself, my thoughts, you can meet anyone at anytime and at any age. Yes time isn't on your side for a family, and that you may have to "give up", but otherwise it's never too late. I'm just happy with my life over all and what people I do have in it, and I don't mind being single, so if I never met "the one", I"m ok with that. That might be the mindset you need to adopt? Is it nice to have someone to share you life with? Of course, but I don't base my overall happiness on it. And it's really hard to find someone these days. For almost everyone.

I'd say just go about life, doing what you can. Living life and trying to be social, I wouldn't say intentionally give up. Keep trying though and you can find someone.

I was a 35yr old virgin, almost gave up. But went to shrink to discuss various things, changed my perspective. Now been in relationship for 3 years, have 2 beautiful kids, turning 40 in a few months. You can change, but you have to be proactive and make it happen
I would say to not give up but to upgrade your life somehow. A girlfriend is supposed to be a bonus to your life. You should have other stuff going on for you. What do you like to do? Do you have any hobbies? Start a business of some sort. Entertain yourself. Have fun

You need to do with your life what you feel is the best for it. Don't do anything because others are doing it, or they say you need to. Do what you feel is satisfactory for your life.
It's really not too late at all. I mean you look healthy and everyday is a new opportunity to accomplish this goal. 40 is no big deal, especially with the internet connecting people these days.
Dude, just work on your confidence. Try online dating. I hate it too, but nowadays, everyone uses it. Just try to go on as many dates as possible, and you’ll eventually meet the right one.
