When I was 16, I had a crush on this guy. Then at 21 he had also noticed me and approached me. He wanted to get to know me, he was interested and I actually still liked him but I rejected him.

Why? Well he was then very good friends with a girl and something did not feel right and they did not date each other, unless like last year I guess, anyways now they're moving in together.
I saw them today and thought to myself that could have been me but I just wasn't right for him.
The two are really cute together and seem very happy and that makes me happy but like what a crazy thing

Yup. It wasn’t a relationship but it was football. I trained for two years until I could beat every varsity player I could find in 1v1s and then was ready to go kill it as a sophomore and then my parents changed pulled me out of school for buying myself a phone. A few of those varsity players I practiced with are playing D1 now. I don’t know if I could have made it to that level but I think I could’ve. I left home a week after my 18th birthday.
