That's a bit daft. Of course people want a desire what is wanted and desired. Be it a sports start, a celebrity for a movie role, an employee, etc etc.
Competition. That’s what it’s mainly about. The guy doesn’t even have to be hot. Just to have a girlfriend so women will say something like What does she have that I don’t, or He could do a lot better than her.
I once knew a woman who went after married man; single men she did not want. She even got beat up in a fight between her and the wife of one of the guys she went out with!
If I’m interested in someone I ask them how many relationships they’ve had/how much sexual experience they have, and that’s usually a tell tale sign. Someone can try lying to me if they want but I can pick up on lies very easily and will stay away from them if they can’t be honest about their past experiences.
100% NO. I don’t want to feel like I’m in a competition. Hypergamy is a turn off to me.

Absolutely, undoubtedly 100% true! It's a phenomenon known as "social proof." People tend to like things that those around them like. This is VERY true of women assessing men. Much more so than with men assessing women.
Women are as competitive as men, but what goes on in their brains is the great mystery of "Man"kind. I does seen that way. I guess the gatherer instinct in women might have something to do with it.
It could be true but for me now it's not. Meaning he isn't attractive just because a bunch of other girls want him too. In fact it's kind of a turn off for me.
I never so much attention from women then I did once I got married and started wearing my wedding ring. It was crazy how many women would come up to me and start flirting.

It’s about whether or not he’s good looking. Period.

It's part of human nature
I would say that, yeah. Lots of women want to be the envy of their friends.

What she wants I want is the common behavior I have seen in clothing. A stock in demand is wanted by everyone.
That is general behavior.

Why does this read like a nursery rhyme 😂
Absolutely, it is called pre selection. This is also seen by men who enter into relationships and notice increased female attention.
I can't fathom why would a chick be asking a rhetorical question
Complete opposite. I usually go for the men who struggle to find other women. That way chances are I won’t be cheated on if they can’t find anyone.
Gotta find the gems in them but when you do safest option by far
He'll appreciate you more too assuming he likes you and didn't just settle because he can't get anyone else.
That’s the idea, but also I wouldn’t date someone who’s only dating me because they can’t get someone else. Not what I was meaning with my comment.
How do you know they struggle? They aren't going to say that.

obviously, and action speaks louder than words.
I'm surprised a woman is asking this. this site just keeps getting more entertaining

It is extremely unattractive to me. I am not a cuck
I never had women ask me out until I got married. It was weird.
Same. I've been offered phone numbers without asking. Never happened when i was single
@mobiusforniner I had a girl track me down from a credit card recipt and ask me out. She was hot too.
Same goes for men. But obviously if he's desirable to most women he's attractive, has money , and an appealing personality
It could be true but for me now it's not. Meaning he isn't attractive just because a bunch of other girls want him too. In fact it's kind of a turn off for me.
Same, I want someone completely unattached, with fairly low experience and ready to give someone (Like me lol) his undivided attention.
Lol, that is usually the only man women want. 10% of men get 90% of the women.
No. But men that are desirable, are desirable to most women.
