No I wouldn’t ask my boyfriend to delete them, but it would surely make me uncomfortable if he still had a photo of them being “intimate” or kissing. So, I can understand it might make him feel uncomfortable if you still have it up…
You can ask him “why” he wants them deleted, and he might give you a better answer than I can.
Also, you know you can archive photos, right? You can hide them from your profile but they aren’t deleted forever.

Delete in general? No. But you’d think they have sense enough to remove it from their page without their new partner having to ask. I keep old photos in my old phone which i never use. Its been dead for years. I personally wouldn't want to date someone who even still uses a social media page like FB/Insta/Snap. Thats less trouble altogether
No I would not ask someone to do that in a new relationship sounds kind of like some high school. Sounds like someone is insecure about their relationship or seriously jealous... kind of a red flag.
What would you want him do if it was his account? Keep ‘em photos?
