Should I send this guy a goodbye message?

Long story short: I friendzoned this guy, yet he seemed to really care about me and I have valid reasons to believe he was sincere. He hasn't replied to my texts in 4 days. I'm willing to put my ego aside and send him a goodbye message, something like ''I really cared about you and I don't know why you're doing this to me.'' so the question is not whether I should send him the goodbye message or not (in the hope that he'll reply) . I'm willing to put my ego aside, the question is: is 4 days enough to draw conclusions or should I wait a little longer?

tbh he probably blocked you on his phone. and he is right to do so. unrequited crushes hurt and talking to you probably isn't isn't going to be a healthy way to move on. you can see if he wants to be friends still in 2 to 3 months after he's started dating some other people. he will probably be more receptive then. but he might also never want to see you again and thats fine. he doesn't owe you anything and he should spend his attention on somebody that feels the same about him.

Nope because what´s the point in that? If you friendzoned him and he wanted a relationship that sounds not a good fundament for any further conversation.
Sending him such a message wouldn´t turn things over again but rather break off contact for good.
