Guys: have you ever gone quiet on a girl you liked/ just met whilst you went on vacation?

I’m just wondering how common it is not to hear from guys whilst they’re on vacation…

I met a guy on my night out last weekend and we hit it off. At the end of the night he asked for my fb and said that we should go on a date. I smiled saying yes and (amused that he hadn’t just asked for my number) I said cheekily “so are you going to send me a fb message” he said yes and then we kissed goodbye.

He then went on vacation with family the next day for a week. I haven’t heard from him yet (been 6 days) and am just wondering how common this is with other guys? He seemed so keen as he was giving me lots of compliments and genuinely interested in what I was saying. I just assumed I would have heard from him by now to at least keep momentum going.

He just met you. I don't think this is that unusual. If you don't hear from him when he gets back, then you should start to doubt his interest.

It's hard to be interested in women other than their body these days. The only interest is if she has honor like saving herself for marriage, then the guy will actually respect her and treat her like a real woman.
