I also honestly wouldn’t say yes either to a man who had a face I thought was good looking but a crap personality.

We are all visual creatures, are we not? We all want an attractive men with great attributes. But I found that searching for the perfect guy isn't easy, so some times it's best to settle for less. At least in my opinion. I never had luck with attractive men, mostly because they only seemed interested in me for sex and also had girlfriend's, which was a no no for me.
So, I lowered my standards from an 8 to a 4 in attractiveness. I'm now dating someone who is an introvert and a bit nerdy, average a bit in looks, and really sweet. He can also make me laugh and feel comfortable.

No, calm down. Its same with men. There needs to be a physical attraction, at least a little, for a love relationship to work out. If its only "love" about personality, its basically just platonic or a strong friendship.
If you're not attracted the slightest to her/his physique it will hardly work out in sex
