How do I deal with a boyfriend who only likes to play guitar? I don’t want to be rude but want to spend more quality time with him?

I have a new boyfriend that only likes to play guitar. When I come over, he is playing songs he wrote. I will sit there for like 3 hours while he writes them & works on them. He seems really happy but then he doesn’t wanna see me rest of week bc he wants to play instead!

Writing this out, I realize I haven’t really offered anything else to do when I come over, but I really try to appreciate him, and we sometimes watch TV & that’s it. I try to be happy.

It’s just annoying bc if I invite him to ANYTHING else (a family barbeque, a camping trip, anything on the weekend) he doesn’t wanna come ever bc he wants to play guitar instead!! Literally 100% of the time. Maybe he just doesn’t like doing those things? I’m just learning to do stuff alone instead.

Literally 100% of the time. We’ve never really done anything outside of the house. He’s just content seeing me a few times a week when I come over, and that’s it.

How do I fix this? Am I being an asshole? For wanting more etc? I feel like this is just him.

He just loves music/guitar so much! Like I don’t wanna interfere with him/his life. But how would you handle something like this?
