Should I leave my boyfriend?

So we hadn't talked for a few days. He was being real insensitive to my military experience and health condition and said his job training was way harder than the "weak military training". So it made me feel like utter shit. So I just sat back and reflect on things and recently he's been so nonchalant and barely shows me affection, he's gets moody and tells people his problems and it feels like I'm the last to know. I mean he vent stuff about his dad to my mom. Regardless of what he said, it's just stuff like that just leaves me questioning. I care about him and I understand relationships have problems but I don't know if I should stay. We've been together for 7 years and it just feels he won't marry me until I'm an " asset" aka making money like he is.
