Girls, Do girls mind being asked out or directly for sex?

I was on holiday and met some girls.

2 examples. On a tour I met a local girl working for the company. I was chatting to her several times. She was really attractive and friendly with me. Of course she was working so not going to be rude. I wanted to ask her to dinner but chickened out. Should I just asked her? Worse she can say is she's busy etc she won't be offended?

Example 2. I met a hot girl in hostel we got on well lots of talking. I'd like to have slept with her but I don't know how to go about that. We were hanging out and chatting a lot at what point and how would I go about asking if she want sleep with me. Any times happened before I wait for girl to make some move so don't happen too much haha. And would she be annoyed rude if I ask her directly or its normal? Again worst she can say is no but be hard to speak with her again if rejected.

I kinda prefer forward guys, (not forceful of corse) i like knowing their intentions. But next time i think maybe you should ask her out, you miss every chance you don’t take :)

Of course asking for dinner Is fine if she says no so be it.

But how does one "ask" for sex. I feel to rude or something to ask. But if noone ever asks noone gets. I only been lucky when thankfully girls were more forward than me.

For me it seems fine girl being forward as its not creepy etc but a guy asking girls to go to bedroom seems creepy
